38 hours x €27.99 including tax / hr = €1,063.62

7 free hours* = €1,063.62 - €195.93 = €867.69**

CAF assistance = €867.69 - €700.80 = €166.89

50% Tax credit = €166.89 x 0.50 = €83.45

That is €83.45 / 38 hours = €2.20 / hour (After tax deduction)

The amount paid by CAF varies according to your income and the number of your children, the time paid varies between € 622.62 to € 859.83 for a child under 3 years old and between € 310.39 to € 429.92 for a child over 3 to 6 years old.

Tax credit

As a state-approved organization, Bloom Buddies Babysitting by Enqavon Service gives you tax benefits. You can benefit from a reduction or a tax credit of 50% on all the sums committed with Bloom Buddies Babysitting (art. 199 sexdecies of the General Tax Code).

The general tax code provides for a tax reduction or a tax credit equal to 50% of the expenditure made by the recipient of the service. Expenses are eligible for this tax benefit up to a limit of 12,000 Euros per year and per household. To benefit from the tax credit, we will send you a tax certificate showing all the sums involved.

How much does a nanny for a baby under 3 years cost in Paris?

At Bloom Buddies, the gross rate is €27.99 incl. VAT/hour. However, thanks to CAF subsidies (PAJE/CMG up to €700/month for a child under 3) and the 50% tax credit, your actual cost can drop to just €2.20 per hour. We also offer 7 free hours per month for contracts over 24 hours.

What CAF subsidies are available for childcare under 3 years?

For a child under 3 years old, you can benefit from the Complément de libre choix du Mode de Garde (CMG) from PAJE. The amount ranges from €622.62 to €859.83 per month depending on your income. This is significantly higher than for children aged 3 to 6 (€310.39 to €429.92). Bloom Buddies assists you with all administrative procedures.
